How to Choose Kitchen Appliances

Take the time to choose your kitchen appliances carefully, as making a hasty decision based on cheapest price may prove to be inconvenient and regretable. The right choice will not only save time while working there, it'll make your kitchen look fantastic and also make cooking alot more enjoyable.

Consider your requirements carefully, including your cooking preferences, lifestyle, brand names and warranties.

•  Decide which appliances are absolutely necessary in your kitchen, eg oven, cooktop, rangehood, dishwashers and insinkerators.
•  Work out your budget but be realistic. You may not be familar with costs.
•  Work with your designer, builder or cabinet maker to find out what space you do have available.
•  Decide on the finish and the look. Do you want white, black or stainless steel? Freestanding or built ins?
•  Consider your lifestyle and cooking preferences. Are you an entertainer who lives creating masterpieces or is it just the two of you?
